Isn’t this the most unusual place? No one actually knows how the pinnacles were formed – yet! My surprise is that they are relatively recent and are not related to the limestone weathering that we know in the UK.
This picture is notable because it chronicles the trip we didn’t take to Freemantle! I thought that was where the ferry was going to take us. Instead it took us to the other side of the Swan River to South Perth, where we had a couple of pints of beer and watched the dismal performance
