Walking round the mountain

We were using our bus passes to explore Anglesey, but our last trip was somewhat curtailed by the long time it took (with two buses) to get from Llangoed where we were staying (big shout-out for Kingsbridge Caravan and Camping Park) to Holyhead. So we got a taxi to take us to South Stacks Lighthouse (above and below) before walking round the mountain – lovely walk – to get back to Holyhead … and the return bus trip!

Here’s a shot taken from the end of the walk looking over towards the breakwater of the ferry terminal – thank-you foxglove … needed some foreground interest!

A few more of my photographs from the trip to Anglesey can be seen here.
