A short walk from the road just below Chateau Tongariro is this spot – used as a location in Lord of the Rings. Why is this a moment? Well I think I can confidently state that it was here that Peter learnt how to take soft, silky waterfall shots – perhaps the only lesson passed from father to son 🙂
