The original prints I got from these shots were quite washed out. It was an interesting exercise to see just what I could extract from the images. [I’ve included the original scans at the end of this post so that you can see what I mean.] Anyway, I know they’re not the greatest shots of the Grand Canyon … but they’re the only decent ones that I’ve got! As the sun came up, so the haze began to build – industrial polution – and the view just disappeared into a blur.
