At about this time of the year a very pleasurable family get together is enacted – usually in Europe, but this time in Ludlow, Shropshire – the Bradford siblings and their partners let their hair down for a few days and generally have a good time. Ludlow has one of the best Christmas Markets in the country, and most definitely the best Medieval one. The whole town dresses up in costume, including the market traders in the square outside the main venue which is inside Ludlow Castle. Inside the castle there’s a lot going on, a whole days worth of entertainment, food and drink, and market stalls.
