One of the images I took for the OU Digital Photography course. I took this subject from many different angles until I got this one, with the low-angle sun shining exactly where I wanted it. Maybe the background is a bit distracting, but I don’t think so. The statue recalls (at least for me) the many who sailed out of Cardiff, and the wives and girlfriends they left behind.
