
Almost the last day in Australia and Peter took us to the Mornington Peninsula and to Portsea to let us look across to The Heads (or The Rip) a fierce narrow channel that is the only entrance and exit to Melbourne Bay. When you consider the size of the vessels that come through this narrow and shallow stretch of water, one has to praise the work of the pilots.
