I really must get someone else to write the titles to these images … but I do rather like this one and it sums up a really fantastic place to visit – just off the road between Ludlow and Church Stretton in Shropshire. Jenny and I managed a few days after our aborted trip to Scotland on a campsite to the south of Ludlow and visited Stokesey for the first time – having driven past it on numerous occasions. We were not disappointed, I can thoroughly recommend a visit and there’s a nice circular walk from the castle car park that you can do that takes you to overlook the Onny valley and the Marches.
