Wooton Bridge
The Forestry Commission are attempting to improve the drainage of this part of the forest near to Wootton Bridge. Unsuccessfully so far, I’d have to say if my boots are anything to judge by. I was looking for a shot of the sun streaming through the trees and this just about does the idea justice. Shame the blue sky is not showing through the canopy though.
The shot below has a reflection in the still clear brown water – a feature of the streams that run through the gravel beds of the forest.
