Jane came for the weekend. The sun shone. We went to Penarth. We went on the newly refurbished (but not yet open) pier. It was a lovely warm day. I saw Jane taking a picture a bit like this one – into the sun, and had to have a go myself getting the shelter in the right place to shade the sun from the lens. I think it came out rather well after the cropping and post-processing in Lightroom had been applied.
