This image, another one from the OU course, has become a favourite of mine. It shows a fishing boat leading the way out from the lock that controls the passage to the Severn Estuary and from Cardiff Bay. The early morning light, the light on the boat, the ribbons in the water and the views of Steep Holm and Flat Holm all made the getting up early well worth it!
