Where could I be?

Italianate ... you've got it in Wiltshire

Church of St Mary and St Nicholas, WiltonIf you were to place a bet on where this church is, you wouldn’t have said Wilton, near to Salisbury in Wiltshire. It’s quite an amazing Grade I listed building in a Romanesque style with its Byzantine features, and seemingly so out of place in Wiltshire rather than Italy. The inside is just as impressive.

What I thought I’d show you here however is what this image taken with a wide-angle lens, looked like before I applied transformations to the image and took out some of the highlights with Lightroom.
