Spring has sprung
Not the most original of titles, and not the most photographically exciting of subjects I suppose, but I couldn’t resist taking this shot of the blast of colour outside my mother’s front door on a gloriously sunny Mother’s Day.

The light when I took this shot was rather strange as I think you might be able to judge. I put the polariser on the lens and played around with a few other settings before capturing this shot of the River at Salisbury quite close to the cathedral.
